- Turn off downstairs Ice machine by the switch on lower left side. Close water valve (straight up).
- Make sure all sliding glass doors are double locked. There are 7 of them including upstairs back bedrooms. 4 of these open from both sides so check. Close all shutters and blinds.
- Turn all lights & fans off including Big Air fan. Make sure patio/deck lights are off. Leave North porch light in On position. It has a motion sensor for guests arriving after dark.
- Run dishwasher with final dishes or put away clean dishes.
- No perishable food left out. Dispose of perishables if no one is staying next week
- Make sure there is beer/vodka/Trulys for Jay & Nicole!
- Change sheets in your room with the spare set in your closet (that you washed when you arrived!) Leave dirty in your bedroom closet, (unless you have time to wash & dry them).
- Fold up all cots and store in closet.
- Make sure all wet laundry is dried
- Move patio furniture against the house under balcony. Move patio table, chairs & umbrella inside downstairs living room if no one else is using the house next week.
- Make sure all umbrellas, chairs, paddleboards, kayak, canopies, toys etc. are stored in garage. Please shake or hose all sand off these items before bringing to garage.
- Secure the hasp on the beach chair shed with the keyring
- Make sure outside hose by shower is turned off
- Be sure both blue/white awning remotes are set back inside
- The cleaning fee is $200. Make arrangements with Jay for payment.
- Take all trash out of house, into outdoor trash cans and wheel to side of road.
- Recycling goes in blue bins in garage. Next guests will take them out. If there is a lot, please make a run to the recycling center located at our Town Hall at 17425 Gulf Blvd (1.2 miles away)
- Make sure garage and tool shed doors are locked. Hang boxing glove key on hook inside entry door near downstairs laundry room.
- Turn both AC controls up to 80 degrees in Cool mode, Fan set to Auto
- Flip off both hot water breakers
- Turn off black water valve (horizontal position) leading to water softener in garage. Do not turn red valves on top of softener.
- Make sure side door locks when you leave. Watch/listen to make sure the deadbolt engages.
